Land Acknowledgement

I wish to acknowledge that the land on which my practice is based (Tkaronto/Toronto) is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnaabe, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples, and it is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. This land is covered by Treaty 13 and is protected by the ‘Dish with One Spoon’ agreement. I am committed towards continual learning about, and action on, my responsibilities as a settler.
